Every tradition has a wealth of wedding traditions and Russia is no exception kiss russian beauty. While some current Russian couples opt for a more “westernized” ceremony that simply requires them to sign their names in a register office ( or as we call it Zags), there are still those who want to go the whole hog and have the traditional Orthodox festival with all of its related joy.

As an example, a conventional Russian partners does greet their families as they enter the house with bread and salt. This is a method of wishing the fresh partners a long living together. After this, the brides will have a special dinner of korovai, a circular bride breads filled with different icons such as pigeons, flowers, sun and stars, all wishing the couple health, prosperity and happiness.

During the greeting, customers are encouraged to fall a bit of funds on the floor around the brides, known as “dvoryanka”. This traditional custom embodies a couple’s hope for great success in life.

Another custom is that the wife throws her flowers at the customers instead of the guests. Anyone caught it is thought to be the second couple to marry, so they must be very cautious not to kick very tough. A piece of the plate must be positioned underneath their pillow for those who do n’t pick up the bouquet.

The “ransom” is another traditional part of a Russian marriage. In essence, the groom’s associates kidnap the bride before putting her in hiding until he reaches the end of a string of commitments intended to test his feelings for her. To open the lady, the groom may make either true or metaphoric payment.
